Texas A&M football has been on an absolute tear in recruiting over the last few months, leading to them currently holding the no. 1 overall class ranking for the upcoming cycle. The best part is that the Aggies are nowhere near done, as they have solid leads with some highly-ranked blue-chip prospects.
If the dominoes keep falling the way that they are currently projected to, this Aggie class could end up being one of the best of all time. That won't be easy in the slightest, of course, as the competition will be stiff for each and every one of these prospects, but the Aggies have the recruiting horses to compete with any school in the country.
One of the Aggies' top targets in the class, receiver Jaden Upshaw, is set to announce his commit very soon, and the Aggies are surging for his commitment. Texas A&M very well could be adding to their stellar class quite soon.
Texas A&M target Jaden Upshaw sets commitment time and date as Aggies look to secure another huge recruitment
Upshaw, out of Lee County, Georgia, is set to commit on April 15 at 6 PM eastern:
TIME CHANGE: 4 ⭐️ WR Jaden Upshaw is set to announce his commitment LIVE on CBS Sports College Football YouTube on Wednesday, April 15th at 6:00 EST.

Upshaw is currently ranked No. 12 WR in the country and has narrowed down his finalists to Miami, Alabama, Texas A&M and Florida.… pic.twitter.com/Nvn4iLKOMf
Upshaw is ranked as the 11th-best receiver in the class per the 247Sports Composite rankings and the no. 64 player overall. He just visited Aggieland this past weekend, which is always a good sign headed into a commitment announcement.
If Holmon Wiggins and this Texas A&M staff can get this one over the finish line, their first receiver commit of the class would be a huge one. Upshaw is the kind of guy who could threaten to start on day one— and something you love to see is that his evaluation on 247Sports specifically mentions his blocking as a big plus to his game.
The Aggies are making big moves in the class of 2027 right now, and this could be the latest if all goes the way it seems at the moment. No doubt Miami, Alabama, and Florida will all make some last-minute pitches, but the Ags are the team to beat right now.
