There aren't many Texas A&M fans who are also ardent San Francisco 49er supporters, but that may change after the latest free agency move in the NFL ranks. The titans of the NFC West added a Texas A&M legend in Mike Evans earlier this offseason, and they just picked up another Texas A&M fan favorite to add to their roster.
Christian Kirk is reportedly signing with the 49ers after a few years down in Houston, where the A&M fanbase got to watch him pretty closely. That makes two legendary Aggies in the San Francisco receiving corps alone as the 49ers gear up for another Super Bowl run.
If they do challenge for another championship, these two Aggie receivers will no doubt be a huge part of things. Brock Purdy loves to get the ball to George Kittle and Jauan Jennings, but Mike Evans and Christian Kirk bring a different level of play that he will no doubt appreciate in the upcoming year.

Kirk came to Texas A&M as part of the 2015 recruiting class, and he made an immediate impact. He was arguably the best A&M player not named Myles Garrett in his first two years, and unquestionably the best in the maroon and white in 2017.
Mike Evans needs no introduction. His breakout 2013 season came on the heels of a big year in 2012, but it was his final year in College Station that made him a household name and a top-10 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. All he's done since then is put up the most consecutive 1,000+ yards season of any receiver in NFL history.
This is a fearsome twosome for the 49ers, and there's no doubt that Kyle Shanahan will be able to cook up a lot for these guys going forward. We'll have to see whether it's enough to knock off the defending champion Seahawks, but one thing is for sure: there will be a lot of Texas A&M fans tracking closely with San Fran going forward.
