Texas A&M is basking in the glow of their series-opening win over the Texas Longhorns that came on Friday night, as the Aggies knocked off Schlossnagle and the no. 2-ranked Horns in his first visit back to College Station since his less-than-gracious exit.

Getting a win in the first game of the series was big for the Aggies, as they've struggled in openers over the last month or so. Texas A&M brought the offense tonight, however, in front of a completely raucous crowd, and it paid off with a gutsy win to put things very much in their favor headed into Saturday.

The best moment for many Aggie fans came at a time not many would expect. Jim Schlossnagle got on the mic to speak with the announcers up in the booth, and right in the midst of his discussion with them, the Aggies decided to uncork a huge hit.

You can see the full clip in the post below— it's definitely worth a watch if you're an Aggie fan.

Right as the bat makes contact, you can see Schloss's stomach drop to his toes. All he can manage is a pathetic "um... hope he sees this" right as it becomes clear his fielder obviously doesn't know what's happening.

Schloss is no stranger to being made a fool of in regards to A&M since his departure, as his strange and misguided PR push after the fact shows. He tried his best to spin the narrative when he departed, but it was to no avail, as he was still roundly condemned in the media.

This is just yet another instance in a long line of them where Schloss is getting what he deserves. That it comes at the hands of an A&M player in this series, in this moment, is a pretty nice feeling for the Aggie faithful.
