Miles O'Neill posts video of workout with Micah Hudson at Texas A&M football facility; Does this signal imminent return for highly-touted WR?

Texas A&M football fans were dismayed to hear the news of Micah Hudson's reported step back from the game of football recently. Hudson was one of the brightest stars that the Aggies brought in from the transfer portal, and that's saying something given the class that came into College Station this offseason.

Since that point, fans have been going about their business as if Hudson would not be part of the team in the upcoming year. It's been all radio silence apart from the odd rumor on this front for quite some time... until this post from backup Aggie QB Miles O'Neill today.

This video was reportedly taken in December, before Hudson stepped away from football activities, so it's not something that shows him coming back to practice. The question, however, is why O'Neill chose now to post it.

Is he indicating that a return may be imminent? Is he attempting to show solidarity with Hudson in what is clearly a time of distress for the Aggie WR? Or is he attempting to recruit him back to the team— sort of a "remember how dynamic this combo is" sort of thing?

It's hard to know right now, since there's no accompanying text. But that didn't stop Aggie fans from getting excited when O'Neill sent this post out.

At the end of the day, it may turn out that this means nothing. It could just be a video from one player showing off a great throw he made, while shouting out the receiver who is also in the video. But Aggie fans are hoping just such a connection is something they see all throughout the upcoming season and beyond.
