Will the leap of faith work?

One Texas A&M recruit is attempting the leap of faith to create a superteam. One of Mike Elko biggest wins this cycle was when he was able to snag five-star cornerback Brandon Arrington away from Oregon, Alabama and USC. Arrington's commit was the sign of a strong Elko-led recruiting class to come for 2026 and onward.

Arrington dropped a cryptic message to fellow five-star, Lamar Brown. Brown committed to LSU in the summer, and is arguably the best defensive tackle in the nation. The No. 1 overall recruit was "50-50" between LSU and Texas A&M, but eventually chose Texas A&M.

The recruiting is doing itself right now, with the Aggies as the last unbeaten SEC team, and Arrington is hoping that he could help out Elko on LSU week.

Texas A&M commit Brandon Arrington looks to steal Lamar Brown away from LSU

This is hilarious, especially with the Tigers suffering a loss against Vanderbilt this past Saturday. Arrington used the power of social media to make Brown think twice about his commitment to the Bayou Bengals.

Arrington didn't stop there. He repeated Brown's same sentiment about development, and how Texas A&M football is on top of all of that.

These are high school kids who are some of the best athletes in the nation. Arrington is looking at helping Elko create a superteam defense, and if the Ags are able to beat the Tigers in Baton Rouge, it might make for more of a case for Brown to flip his commitment.

After all, Brown was halfway between the Aggies and Tigers, and an Aggie win this weekend could tip the iceberg in the other direction for Brown.

The chances of one high school kid making another kid flip schools is small, but let's remember that A&M was in the mix for quite a while. Arrington's message is telling us that the Aggies are in to win for the future.
