Texas A&M football recruiting appears to be on precipice of completing several huge recruit flips
Texas A&M football didn't get the result they wanted on the field on Saturday night, but they're about to take some major steps towards making sure that kind of game doesn't happen again.
The atmosphere in College Station all day and at Kyle Field was the best in college football, as you'd expect. Accordingly, it had a huge effect on all the recruits in attendance—and there was a whole bunch of them there.
With the early signing period beginning on Wednesday, it was a prime moment for the Aggies to begin their push towards finishing out the 2025 class in style. With two of their biggest targets, it look like they're about to accomplish exactly that.
I wrote last night about the predictions the Aggies have received to flip five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles from Southern California. Myles has decommitted from USC but is still expected to sign on Wednesday. It won't be easy by any stretch, but the Ags have to feel good about that one.
Now, another longtime Aggie target and five-star has decommitted from his original destination. Lamont Rogers has backed off of his pledge to Missouri after rumors have been swirling nearly all fall that he would be flipping to A&M.
Another Missouri commitment that Tiger fans have been feeling pretty iffy about is RB Jamarion Morrow, who is also coming off of a visit to A&M. In what is perhaps a canary-in-the-coalmine moment, the Tigers took a commitment from another running back just yesterday—are they themselves anticipating a flip?
As the above tweet states, Keylan Moses—an LSU LB commitment—is another guy to keep an eye on headed into ESD. He had some cryptic words on X as well, perhaps portending how things are trending in his recruitment.
It's not just the 2025 class, either. The Aggies are putting in some major work in 2026, and may be about to pull off a big pair of flips in the junior class. Both OU RB commit Jonathan Hatton and former Alabama CB commit Dorian Barney have been predicted to land with the Aggies. Hatton and Barney are both top-100 prospects.
This could be a legendary run over the next couple of days, and this isn't even everyone to watch. Five-star OT Michael Fasusi was also in town on Saturday, and his commitment to OU is all but completely gone at this point. If the Aggies close things out this way, they'll be absolutely loaded going forward.
