After a years-long wait, Texas A&M football finally knows their schedule for the new nine-game slate in the SEC. I say years-long because such a change has been anticipated for quite some time, and we finally get to see how it will shake out.
It's not just for the next season, though: Texas A&M knows their games for the next four years. The anticipation is already building for some of these marquee matchups as Aggie fans consider hosting the cream of the crop in the nation's top conference.
While specific dates have yet to be revealed for any of these games, we have the matchups and the locations set for the next four years. Here is the first look at the Aggies' conference matchups over that timeframe.

The first thing that many Aggie fans noticed is that this 2026 schedule includes repeat road trips to Baton Rouge and Columbia, Missouri. The Aggies visit both LSU and Missouri this year, and they will head back to both venues for a second-straight year in the following season.
The idea here, at least in LSU's case, is to mix things up for the Aggies where they don't have to face both the Longhorns and the Bayou Bengals on the road in the same season. Missouri could have certainly been a home game here, but it didn't shake out that way.
The other home conference games for the Aggies in 2026 include Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee. That's four very winnable home games for the Ags, though the road trips to LSU, Missouri, Alabama, and South Carolina will all be tough.
The Aggies finally get a visit from the Georgia Bulldogs in 2027— a matchup that has not happened since A&M joined the conference. This also staggers the Alabama and Georgia matchups so that the Aggies don't play both teams in one year.
The ideal year to make a run, according to this schedule, would be the 2028 season. The home slate includes Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, and Oklahoma, not to mention a non-conference game against Louisville— season ticket holders will be getting their money's worth in that year.
This high-powered 2026 recruiting class will be juniors that season, and the road slate is relatively manageable— the trip to Baton Rouge will always be tough, but the other road games at Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee aren't too terrible (depending on how the Vols look).
The excitement is palpable with this new nine-game slate, without a doubt. The Aggies will get many premier matchups over the course of these next four years— and we fans will be treated to some instant classics.
