Before the season, Rashaun Agee was described by Bucky McMillan as a potential first-round pick in the draft. He may not be that, but he's been just as advertised as a true leader of this team.
Agee was just named a member of the All-SEC Third Team. Of course, this is an award fans can be proud of, but some Aggie legends are calling it a snub and saying it wasn't enough.
Former Texas A&M basketball legends Elston Turner Jr. and Alex Caruso had something to say about it. Well, let's say they weren't pleased with the results and thought Agee got snubbed.

In SEC play, Agee gave his all by being second in the SEC in double -doubles, not an easy feat to accomplish when you think about how tough the conference is, and how much talent there is spread across the footprint.
The Second-Team included big guys like Texas forward Dailyn Swain and Florida big man Rueben Chinyelu. Chinyelu averaged a double-double this season and is a seriously good rim protector, so it's hard to put Agee over him, but Agee has a good case over Swain.
Swain has averaged 17.7 points and 7.5 rebounds this season. We're not saying he's not deserving, but Agee finishing second in double-doubles and rebounding in the conference can't be ignored. Alex Condon is right next to Agee on the third team, so it's not bad company at all, but the A&M legends feel that Agee was ignored.
Texas A&M is gearing up for the SEC tournament and has bigger fish to fry, but fans aren't surprised once again that one of their own is getting overlooked.
