Texas A&M fans awoke this morning to a great piece of news following the Aggies' Junior Day this past weekend: the Aggies had picked up a commitment from a blue-chip prospect. Four-star offensive tackle Kaeden Scott was on campus this weekend, and he finally pulled the trigger on a commitment after several predictions had come in that he would do so (despite some slightly mixed signals).
This commitment may be the first-ever that I've seen to come in at midnight— well, in all fairness, five minutes until midnight. The Aggies will take a big commitment like this no matter when, of course— Scott is a truly elite prospect along the offensive line and adds another huge tackle body to the room.

Scott is absolutely massive, coming in at 6'7" and 280 pounds— there's plenty of room to continue to fill out his frame, which is maybe the most exciting part here. He's ranked as a top-150 player in the nation per 247Sports, and could continue to rise with a strong senior season.
Texas A&M picks up massive midnight commitment with Kaeden Scott jumping in the boat
Scott joins DeMarrion Johnson as offensive line pledges for the Aggies in the 2027 class, but they are far from the last that will be in this group. Texas A&M is in a great position for five-star interior offensive lineman Albert Semien, as well as Kennedy Brown, one of the best linemen in the entire nation.
Both of those five-star recruitments will drag out for some time, of course, but with the way this class is already shaping up, I wouldn't be surprised to see some momentum pick up with those guys soon. Adam Cushing could have the building blocks for an offensive line class that would serve as a national championship-level foundation for this program if things continue apace.
Scott is a big part of that, so it's massive to go ahead and get him in the boat. Kudos to Elko and Cushing on this one— this 2027 class looks like it is going to be absolutely elite.
