Texas A&M's offense has clearly solved their biggest nagging issue

This part of the offense looked pretty bad last season.

Mario Craver and KC Concepcion already look like the perfect fit for Marcel Reed and this Texas A&M offense. Reed has been named in the early Heisman conversation, and while we still have much of the season to go, it doesn't seem like an overreaction, as some prominent names in the football analyst world has put Reed in such a spotlight.

Reed last year didn't have the resources to throw the ball down the field, and it makes us wonder: was it really Reed's fault for much of the offensive woes from 2024? Maybe, just because Reed was getting started as a young quarterback, but this offense struggled to say the least, and once Le'Veon Moss went down in the South Carolina game, we knew it was going to be tough to get through some of these SEC defenses.

SEC Mike highlights perfectly how the Aggies have vastly improved in the WR game.

Aggies have improved massively in 'explosive plays'

Arkansas also just took a tough loss to Ole Miss, who's also looking to make noise in conference play this season. Of course, it was fun to watch Alabama not be able to do anything against Florida State, who looks legit as well, but Ryan Williams is too good not to get more involved this season, and he's one of the few game-changers in college football. Expect Alabama to climb higher on that list.

The point is: Texas A&M has figured it out. They have the personnel to be able to throw long bombs. They need to get Ashton Bethel-Roman more involved in the passing game, but Terry Bussey is more than capable of making plays in the open field with his quickness.

The Aggies also have a strong RB room with three legitimate go-to guys. Rueben Owens becoming a runner and a receiver could be something more explosive that Mike Elko could unleash very soon.

Aggies fans should be impressed. This is remarkable football that the Aggies have played, and fans can slowly see the tide changing with the exact offense coming together as we all anticipated on paper.
