Texas A&M spring game takeaways: Jamarion Morrow is the real deal

This was a little bit in the water coming into the game, but Morrow made sure to remind everyone just how much of a threat he is as a runner in this game. Marcel looked sharp and decisive in the throws he was making, but he didn't have to do all that much thanks to the effectiveness of Morrow in the ground game.

It seemed like every time that the man in his new no. 2 jersey got the ball, he did something to raise the eyebrows of Aggie fans. He several times got the corner on a defdender and outran him when it looked like he would be unable to, showing off his explositivity.

He did so as well running up the middle, finding holes that the offensive line created for him and bursting through into the open field. Though he didn't record a long touchdown on the day, he gashed the opposing defense for multiple massive gains.

Morrow will be a big piece of the run game next season alongside Rueben Owens, and could possibly stand a chance to surpass the former five-star back by season's end. He's learning quickly and putting highlights together with ease— Aggie fans can't wait to see more.
