Texas A&M's depth chart only had some minor questions coming into the season. The biggest question, if any, was who was going to start at the tight end position.

Most fans thought it would be Theo Melin Öhrström, only because he had plenty of familiarity already with Marcel Reed. Öhrström's stats haven't been eye-popping, but he's been contributing enough. The junior from Stockholm, Sweden has 13 receptions, 105 yards and a touchdown on the season.

Öhrström has been overshadowed by the amazing receivers for A&M thus far, but fans should also think of the other tight end who has been magnificent in many ways this season. Nate Boerkircher, the Nebraska transfer has been involved as a tight end and a fullback this season.

Boerkircher has been incredible for Texas A&M this season

We have to mention the fact that Boerkircher might be the hero of the season, thanks to his last minute heroics in the Notre Dame game. Since then, he's been heavily involved as a blocker, and catches a pass from time to time.

This season, Boerkircher has gone for 11 receptions, 102 yards and two touchdowns. Not a vast difference from Öhrström, but Boerkircher has just been another dependable body to block for the rushing attack.

Mike Elko had the right idea to get the former Cornhusker, and that decision is paying off, with two dependable tight ends for the Aggies to look forward to. Amari Niblack has only appeared in three games this season, but the Aggies still look loaded at TE.

This is about the best start anybody could ask for, and the Aggies need to keep riding high. The Missouri and Texas games will be their last tests of the season, but if we're going to be honest, the ESPN media is only giving the Longhorns credit to keep them relevant.
