The rest of the SEC is starting to eat Bucky McMillan's words on Rashaun Agee

Bucky knew, everybody else didn't.

Bucky McMillan once predicted that Rashaun Agee would be the face of Texas A&M basketball before the season started, and it's safe to say he's not wrong anymore.

After Agee was named the SEC Player of the Week, McMillan's take on Agee back in October is everything he imagined. Back then, we weren't sure if Agee was going to be a part of this team, but thanks to a judge granting a temporary restraining order, the Texas A&M veteran was allowed to play, and he's been everything but a disappointment.

That's when McMillan first said that Agee would be the face of Texas A&M basketball and a first-round selection in the 2026 NBA Draft.

McMillan's words on Agee turned out to be as true as ever

After last weekend, Agee now has his 10th double-double on the season and the 30th of his career. He's beginning to be the face that Bucky predicted, and then some. He's been the steal that doesn't necessarily play to the roots of "Bucky Ball," but he's making it work anyway.

Bucky Ball is a fast-paced offense and defense that doesn't stop pressing. You don't have to be ultra-talented (although that would help), but you have to be extremely conditioned. Agee is the right-conditioned player that Bucky brought in, and it's paying off perfectly.

Most mock drafts don't have Agee's name in the first round, but it's still a long season. A&M fans aren't surprised by Agee's efforts, but what would be surprising is if he can take his stock to a first-round player.

He's already defying his own odds. Why not continue that?
