Florida's guards wear down in the second half
Boogie Fland and Xaivian Lee are both players that the Aggies will have to limit in this game. They're coming off of a contest against two far more capable guards in Aden Holloway and Labaron Philon, but Lee and Fland should by no means be underestimated.
Backup guard Urban Klavzar is a threat as well that the Aggies will have to contend with. However, as the game goes on, and the pressure from Texas A&M continues to be applied to this Gator team, it could well be the case that simply getting the ball up the floor becomes too big of an ask for UF at times.
The strength of this Florida team is getting the ball down low to their big men. If they can't get it across half court, that becomes a non-issue. Texas A&M will have to play aggressively in their press early on and stick to it even if things don't go their way at first— the mental pressure that these tactics put on opponents should not be underestimated.
This is going to be a battle for 40 minutes no matter what happens. The Aggies have to capitalize on the strengths of Bucky Ball if they hope to take down the Gators— luckily, they'll have a raucous Reed Arena behind them. If UF's guards begin to play sloppy down the stretch, it will be a feeding frenzy in College Station.
