Texas A&M football fans have been anticipating poor weather for the Aggies' game against Arkansas all week, and now the two teams have agreed to preempt any delay that could be incoming due to the weather.
The game had been scheduled to kick at 2:30 PM CT on ESPN, but kick has already been pushed by the network and both teams. The new kick time, according to the SEC, will be at 4:30 PM CT, but the game will still be airing on ESPN.

This is likely better for the Aggies than had the game started at the scheduled time. If kickoff happened and a delay came through, Texas A&M would have been warmed up and ready, but sitting in a cramped and small visiting locker room while they waited for the weather to clear up.
This way, the Aggies can still arrive at the stadium with the amount of time left before kick as they normally would. This will allow them to go through a normal pregame and get completely ready for this game.
Texas A&M vs Arkansas pushed to 4:30 PM CT kickoff after inclement weather challenges original schedule
Arkansas fans are clearly not going to be out in full force for this game, whether due to their team's disappointing performance so far or the aforementioned weather conditions. This helps the Aggies as well, as they will be playing in front of a crowd that is more heavily maroon-slanted than it normally would be up in Fayetteville.
Even so, the conditions for this game will likely be pretty overcast and wet. That means the Aggies will have to be ready for a defensive slugfest in this one, but A&M's defense is better-suited for such a game than is Arkansas's.
Hopefully, this push back of the start time takes care of the weather issue and we face no further delays. There will be another update if such a delay does happen.
