Texas A&M football week 12 rooting guide: Tennessee at Georgia

Tennessee rolls into Athens with a hobbled quarterback of their own as the Bulldogs are coming off of a resounding loss to Ole Miss. It's hard to picture Kirby's squad losing two in a row, but UGA is not in a great place right now.

Still, though, they're sitting at two conference losses—so they're not out of the picture yet. In fact, they're firmly in contention at the moment. A loss today, though, would change all that.

The Aggies need Georgia to win in this one. Tennessee still has only one conference loss, so Georgia winning here would bump the Volunteers down to the rest of the two-conference-loss muddle.

The best scenario for A&M is for them to be the last remaining team with one conference loss, which would be the case if Texas and Tennessee lose today and the Aggies win out. If A&M sustains one more loss, though, it's obviously still best for them if there's no team with fewer conference losses such that they would automatically get to Atlanta.
