Texas A&M football was recently shouted out by national recruiting insider Hayes Fawcett as a team that has a massive recruit on the way. With the Aggies hosting a star-studded cast of prospects in College Station over the last few weeks, there is a litany of names that jumped to mind for recruiting-minded A&M fans.

With so many uncommitted players in the 2027 class that are high on the Aggies, there are quite a few to choose from. Here are five names that could be the next domino to fall for Texas A&M on the trail.

Five recruits who could be next domino to fall for Texas A&M: John Meredith

Meredith is a true-blue, dyed-in-the-wool five-star prospect— a member of the elite of the elite. He most recent ranking update, according to the 247Sports Composite, has seen him rise all the way to the no. 2 overall ranking in the nation, only behind DE Zyron Forstall— who, as a point of interest, has also visited Texas A&M recently.

The elite CB out of Euless, Texas, has been a staple on visitor lists to College Station over the last few years, however. Mike Elko and this staff have been in the midst of this one since before Meredith was a huge national name, and I think there's a great chance that he ends up in the Aggies' class when all is said and done.

The national recruiting experts share this opinion, as the luminaries in the recruiting world have predicted Meredith to eventually commit to Texas A&M. Whether or not he is the recruit in question, here, I think we see him make a move in favor of Mike Elko and the Aggies when he eventually decides to shut things down.
