Three seed? The Aggies weren’t intimidated. For the third time in as many years the maroon and white will be playing in the second weekend of the NCAA Baseball tournament. This year their opponent will be the Davidson Wildcats who toppled North Carolina in Chapel Hill over the weekend.
The matchup is a welcome relief to Aggie fans who saw the team’s season end in the Super Regionals in each of the last two years at the hands of the TCU Horned Frogs. The Frogs made it to the second weekend of the tournament as well, but if they do run into the Aggies it’s going to be in Omaha.
