Friday: No. 10 Texas A&M vs. Louisiana Tech

The Aggies start the weekend with a 7 p.m. game against Conference USA foe Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs are 5-4 this season. They split an opening season four-game series with Pepperdine, picked up a series win against SIU-Edwardsville, won a midweek game against McNeese State, and dropped a series against Northwestern State that saw one game get postponed.

With the Aggies planning to continue with their establish weekend rotation, Stephen Kolek will get the start against the Bulldogs. The junior right-hander brings a 0.77 ERA and 2-0 record into the game for A&M. He is holding opposing batters to a .200 average, allowing eight hits and 15 strikeouts across 11.2 innings of work.

Louisiana Tech plans to start redshirt junior Matt Miller on the mound. This season, Miller has held opposing batters to a .189 batting average. Tech leads CUSA in team ERA at 2.08; that is 17th nationally. Miller has struck out 18 batters this season.

The Bulldog bats are led by sophomore Hunter Wells and junior Mason Mallard. Wells is batting .361 on the season with 13 hits and four RBIs. Mallard is batting .343 with 12 hits and four RBIs.
