On Saturday, the Aggies will take on a familiar foe in the Big XII’s Baylor Bears. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. The Aggies own a 182-130-4 record against the Bears since 2004.

Freshman  LHP Chandler Jozwiak will take the mound for the Aggies in this game. After a rough first game against Rhode Island, Jozwiak settled down to pick up his first win of the season in game two against Cornell. He currently owns a 3.38 ERA over eight innings pitched. Like Kolek, his opponents batting average is currently .200.

Baylor has a team ERA of 2.77 this season and have limited opponents to a .182 batting average. They come to Frisco with a 3-3 record. They dropped a three game series to No. 11 UCLA in Los Angeles the last time out. They had a midweek game against Texas State cancelled due to poor field conditions.

The Bears will start RHP Hayden Kettler on the mound against the Aggies. Kettler has a 1-1 record and an 0.75 ERA on the season. Opponents are batting .143 against Kettler in 2018.

When it comes to offense, sophomores Andy Thomas and Davis Wendzel lead the way for the Bears. Thomas is batting .429 on the season with nine hits and three RBIs. Wendzel is batting .409 and also has nine hits and three RBI.
