Ole Miss Pitching

Thursday night starter Ryan Rolison is the only pitcher on the Ole Miss staff to have lost a game this season. Rolison has allowed 24 hits and given up 12 walks this season. He has a team-best 43 strikeouts and has only given up one homerun this season. Opposing batters are hitting .211 against him. Rolison will be throwing against the Aggies’ Stephen Kolek.

On Friday night, the pitching matchup will feature Texas A&M’s John Doxakis against Ole Miss’ Brady Feigl. Feigl’s ERA of 1.10 leads all Ole Miss pitchers with significant playing time. He has given up 26 hits while striking out 34 and walking 11. Opposing batters are hitting .224 against Feigl.

The rubber game on Saturday will have Mitchell Kilkenny pitching against James McArthur. McArthur’s 1.35 ERA is second on the team behind Feigl. He is limiting opposing batters to a .188 batting average, the best of all Ole Miss starters. He has given up 18 hits, 11 walks, and has struck out 23 batters.

The Rebels’ team ERA is 2.19, good for fifth in the NCAA. They sit just above Texas A&M, whose 2.32 team ERA is sixth best in the country.
