Better Athlete

One thing that is without question is Mond is much more capable of using his legs and is a better all-around athlete than Starkel. This could come in handy this season as last year proved Texas A&M didn’t have the best offensive line.

Who knows if the offensive line will see improvement from a year ago. It’s a fair assumption to expect at least minor improvement, especially when you have an offensive line coach as good as Jim Turner, but the ability to escape the pocket and make plays might be important if not.

I mean, just look at this ridiculous play Mond made against Alabama last season.

That’s Johnny Football-esque stuff. Starkel isn’t going to be confused with Manziel, but Mond absolutely has the ability to create something from nothing.
