Arm Strength

Accuracy might hold Mond back from winning the job over Starkel, but his arm strength has never been an issue. Mond has an absolute cannon. The main problem being he is often wildly inaccurate, especially on deep balls.

The only thing he needs to learn now is how to properly use that arm, and who better than Fisher to do just that? He has gotten a lot out of his quarterbacks over the years both as an assistant and a head coach. Jamarcus Russell, Christian Ponder and E.J. Manuel are just a couple of the quarterbacks he turned into first round picks only to see them flame out without Fisher in the NFL.

Fisher is clearly a good teacher of quarterbacks. Of the two guys fighting for the position, he might be able to get the most out of Mond. He has a much higher ceiling, but still has to work on his consistency.
