Texas A&M is coming into this game against Missouri as slight underdogs, despite the fact that the Tigers are ranked in the top 15 and the Aggies are nowhere near the rankings. Even so, there are still not very many who are predicting an upset for Texas A&M, who has to venture on the road to Columbia, Missouri for the second straight year.
The way the Aggies have played so far this season has brought about a lot of skepticism, erasing the optimism that fans had about A&M thus far in the Elko era after an 11-2 season last year. That skepticism was reflected in the way the picks for this game on College Gameday played out.
Bryce Young was the guest picker for the show, which is being hosted in Alabama ahead of their game against Georgia. He was the lone panelist to select the Aggies in this one, making it not quite a clean sweep for the Tigers, but pretty close.

The Aggies were always going to be doubted heading into this game, and you can't say it's not for good reason. There are a lot of things going wrong with this Aggie team right now, despite what they were able to show last weekend against the Arkansas Razorbacks, and they will need to turn a lot of that around if they have a hope of triumphing over the Missouri Tigers.
That said, there are reasons for hope in this one, without a doubt. Bryce Young pointed out hope in Marcel Reed and the talent on this team as a differentiator, and though the Aggie faithful have not exactly been thrilled with Reed so far this season, it's hard to deny that the Aggies do have a level of talent on their squad that Missouri does not.
Talent only takes you so far, though, if you don't have execution. The Aggies have not had that so far this season, and it has cost them greatly.
Even so, if the Aggies come out firing on all cylinders today, they'll have a shot to knock off this highly-ranked Tigers squad. It may not be a huge chance, but a slight one is all they need— a win today would completely flip the outlook for the season going forward.
