This will be another huge opportunity for Texas A&M to show out in front of the entire nation, as they are one of the top two games in the early time slot. The other one that will be drawing some attention is Michigan-Oklahoma, which is on Fox's Big Noon Saturday.
Tom Hart, calling the game for ABC, is a familiar name for many Aggie fans. He used to be part of the top crew for the SEC Network, calling the primetime game there alongside Jordan Rodgers and Cole Cubelic, but ESPN has split that crew up across the network as they rework their talent pool, and now Hart is alongside Palmer and Budden.
What is the weather for Texas A&M vs Arizona State?
There's no doubt about it: this is about to be a pretty scorching-hot game. According to Neil Sanger, who has been making pretty accurate weather predictions for Aggie games for some time, we're looking at 90 degree temperatures at kick, climbing to 98 by the time the game ends.

There is a low, if not zero, chance of rain during the game, which would certainly cool things down in a way that fans would welcome, but that's not likely to happen. The heat index makes it pretty clear that fans should have already started hydrating for this one— it's likely going to be a pretty packed environment at Kyle in that noonday sun, so come ready for that.
Key players for Texas A&M
Marcel Reed, QB
The Aggie signal caller is the hinge upon which the A&M offense turns. Texas A&M could well have a ground game that could take things over, but if Reed is unable to get it done through the air, there will be some issues— and Arizona State is looking to make that happen.
Marco Jones, DE
No. 10 on the defense has been much-ballyhooed in the offseason, but didn't show up much on last week's stat sheet (though the film was impressive). It's time for him to make an impact on the national stage in a big way.
Terry Bussey, WR
The man now wearing no. 6 is a true Swiss Army Knife for the Aggies, and he's about to show just why. Whether catching passes or taking handoffs, he's looking to flummox the Sun Devils defense on every touch.
Key players for Arizona State
Cutter Boley, QB
The Kentucky transfer piled up some great numbers in his first game as a Sun Devil, but a lot of the passing yardage was picked up after the catch. We'll see how comfortable he is against this Elko defense.
Omarion Miller, WR
The Colorado transfer was one of the most highly-rated players in the portal and is dangerous with the ball in his hands. He'll be looking to have a big day against the Aggie secondary.
Reed Harris, WR
Harris is ASU's version of Isaiah Horton— big, physical, and can make contested catches. The Aggies will need to keep him in check, just like Miller, if they want to win this game.
