Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion is now officially off the board, as he has been selected by the Cleveland Browns with the 24th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Concepcion is the first Aggie to be selected this year, and is the first of potentially three first-round selections for the Ags.

Concepcion is one of the most explosive players in the entire draft. If he gets the ball in his hands, defenses had better be on their toes— he has the speed and change of direction ability to take any possession to the house.

Concepcion's decision to transfer to Texas A&M ended up being a great one, as he led a playoff offense as the premier weapon in the Maroon and White. He totaled 919 yards and 9 touchdowns on 61 receptions as a receiver, and notched 2 touchdowns as a punt returner (including the back-breaker against the LSU Tigers in Death Valley).

There was concern coming into the year about drops, but those did not manifest in the slightest during KC's stint in College Station. He was as surehanded as anyone could have asked for, and was Marcel Reed's most reliable target by far.

Any time he catches the ball in the open field, he is ready to turn it into a huge gain. He will play in the slot at the NFL level, but was versatile enough to play outside at A&M (and even in the backfield for short stints— any way to get the ball in his hands was a good one).

This is a pick that Cleveland fans will be happy with right away. Concepcion is not only a great player on the field, but a stellar human being off of it as well. His article in the Player's Tribune shows his mentality on both of those fronts in a great way, and should be a must-read for all Browns fans.

Congrats to KC, and congrats to the city of Cleveland. You've just added your next big star in Concepcion, and he'll be hauling in touchdowns for years to come.
