Texas A&M is in a position they haven't seen in their program's history.

This has been arguably Buzz Williams' best season as head coach of the Aggies, simply by passing his predecessors in winning ranked games in the SEC.

Now, it seems the haters are eating their own words. Last week, ESPN came out with odds to go to the Final Four this season. Texas A&M had such low odds that it was nearly unbelievable, only putting them as a nine percent chance to make it with a boatload of undeserving teams surpassing them.

Since then, those percentages have changed in favor of the Aggies, and now, they're getting the respect they deserve.

Aggies' chances to make a No. 2 seed have only gotten stronger

The second-half comeback against Georgia is all anybody needed to see.

The numbers don't lie, and they show that in recent numbers thanks to the website "Bracket Matrix."

The only thing that Aggie fans should be aware of is that the Aggies are about to face their biggest tests of the season, with Auburn, Tennessee and Florida coming to spoil their two seed.

The good news is that this is what the SEC is about. Auburn went down at home to Florida, so anything can happen on any given night. It won't be likely that the Aggies will go 3-0 against all three teams, but if so, they might just punch their ticket into a one seed.

With Purdue going down to Michigan, and the Boilermakers about to go through their biggest stretch, the AP might just give the Aggies more grace down the stretch with the SEC being arguably the best basketball conference this season.

Either way, this is unprecedented territory for the Buzz Williams' squad, and the fans need to appreciate him and the players for what they've done this season, because who knows if this will continue in future seasons.
