Texas A&M football players with rising stock after spring football: Arma’j Reed-Adams

The Aggies entered spring needing one of their offensive line transfers to pan out. If reports are accurate, it looks like they’ve found just that in Kansas transfer OL Arma’j Reed-Adams.

That’s a good thing, too, as the Aggies have now lost the other two OL they brought in during the winter window to the spring portal. Dorian Hinton has not officially announced that he will be departing, but he is no longer listed on the online roster, which seems to be a clear telegraph.

Reed-Adams coming on strong was a great sign for the Aggies. With Kam Dewberry and Aki Ogunbiyi missing spring with injury, the Ags needed a solid presence on the inside of the line. Reed-Adams is looking like he is the strongest option at that spot opposite Chase Bisontis, who is likely to slide inside after spending his freshman year at tackle.

Reed-Adams holding down one of the spots up front would be a big development for the Ags. The Aggies need someone to succeed Layden Robinson at left guard, and he could be the man for the job. He had a strong spring game as well—again, that’s not everything, but it’s a very strong sign.
