Texas A&M Aggies news: Football recruiting receiving plenty of chatter, baseball rolls on

Here's your daily roundup of Texas A&M Aggies news for March 28.

Texas A&M football is in great shape with several of their top recruiting targets. One of them, DL Landon Rink out of Cypress, Texas, is announcing his commitment next week. There's a lot of great reason to believe that the Aggies are in a favorable position here.

The Ags hosted several top prospects last weekend, and are set to do the same this weekend, including a couple of five stars. Mike Elko and his staff have certainly done a lot to answer the questions people had about his recruiting prowess here in the early going. There's only four commits in the boat for 2025, but the Aggies are building a strong foundation to add some of the nation's top talent when pen meets paper.

An Ole Miss fan on Twitter attempted to embarrass Jimbo when he posted a creepy photo of the former Aggie coach at a Planet Fitness. It didn't go so well for him, as he got completely roasted for posting the picture. Better luck next time!

The heartache from the Aggies' overtime loss to Houston is still real, and Aggie Dan Campbell feels it just like you and me. Still, there's so much to be proud of with this group, and the fight they showed means that this game won't soon be forgotten.

The Texas A&M baseball team sits at 22-3 but only 3-3 in conference. They host Auburn this weekend to try to get themselves above .500 in SEC play. The Tigers are struggling, but you can never take any matchups for granted in this conference. The Ags will need to roll out their best stuff if they hope to leave this weekend without a loss.
