Power ranking the SEC after week 10: #10 - Vanderbilt

The Commodores are now bowl-eligible and ranked in the AP top 25—what a season for Clark Lea’s squad. This is a rare occurrence up in Nashville, as you might expect.

They will have their work cut out for them this weekend, though, as they host a red-hot South Carolina squad fresh off of a top-10 win. Then again, that may be an enviable position—perhaps the Gamecocks are in a prime spot for a letdown.

This is maybe the best chance that Vandy has for a win for the remainder of the regular season, however. After a bye on November 16, the ‘Dores close the season at LSU and hosting Tennessee, both teams that will be ranked in the top 25 (if not the top 10) when they play.
