Mike Elko is on the verge of having the strongest recruiting class in 2027. Joshua Dobson, an elite five-star cornerback, has Texas A&M in his top five schools of choice. This would be a great get for an already strong showing in 2027, but other names who have already committed are making noise, too.

That's thanks to guys like Kaden McCarty, a four-star edge rusher from the class of 2027, who is going to Texas A&M, and it looks like he's doing recruiting business of his own on 'X.'

Five-star offensive lineman Kennedy Brown has been trending in the right direction. McCarty, who's already committed to Aggieland, has a strong message for Brown that may end up closing the deal.

Five-star OL Kennedy Brown is trending toward committing to Texas A&M

All someone needs to make a decision is a voice of reason, and one of the best edge rushers in 2027 is making a heck of a case for one of the best offensive linemen in the class.

On3/Rivals has Brown going to Texas A&M with a 91.1 percent chance. Other schools in the running are Texas, Nebraska, Clemson and Alabama. The best odds are already with the Ags, but it's nice to see a second opinion welcome Brown with open arms.

Mark Matthews and Albert Simien are two other elite OL who are in the running for Texas A&M, too. If any one of these guys commits to the Ags, it should tip the scales for the best recruiting class of 2027.

Good for McCarty helping out the recruiting team. Sometimes the best kind of persuasion is another voice that has already put pen to paper.
