The Texas-Texas A&M kickoff time has been revealed.

Fans on both ends have been waiting for this for over a decade. Earlier in the summer, fans on both ends got a small taste of the rivalry renewing after Jim Schlossnagle's infamous departure from College Station to Austin.

One of the best rivalries in college football history is coming back. It wouldn't be a show without the voices of college football making a trip once again to College Station.

Texas A&M football gets primetime night matchup in College Station

It's been announced that the Lone Star Showdown will be at 6:30 on ABC.

Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will likely be on the call with a high stakes SEC matchup on the line.

Everything is right in front of Texas A&M. They just have to get past Auburn at Jordan-Hare.

Hopefully the Aggies won't fall victim to any miracle at Jordan-Hare like Georgia and Alabama 11 years ago.

The only mistakes that the Aggies have to worry about are their own.

Outlets are reporting on this game based on the fact that this game is the likely ticket to the SEC Championship game (subscription required).

The Aggies' two losses this year have both come on ABC's Saturday Night Football. This is not saying the Aggies are bad when the lights on are them, but they'll have to prove any narrative like that wrong in back-to-back weeks.

Some might say the night game at Jordan-Hare is a bad draw for the Ags. On paper, Texas A&M is a better team than Auburn, and they have more to lose than Auburn. We best believe the Aggies are going to come out strong.

Against the Longhorns, Kyle Field is anticipating their largest crowd ever. Aggie fans hope it's better than an embarrasing loss to Ole Miss 10 years ago.
