The Aggies are not letting up in the slightest, adding another huge piece via the portal today.

Texas A&M just picked up another offensive line commitment from the transfer portal this morning, and once more it's from their rivals to the east. The Aggies have received a pledge from former LSU offensive tackle Tyree Adams, bringing the number of offensive line commitments from the portal up to three.

Adams joins Trovon Baugh and Coen Echols (his former and now current teammate) as pledges along the offensive front coming to College Station via the portal. This is a big position of need for the Aggies, of course, with seven of their nine-man offensive line rotation from 2025 departing, so this is definitely a necessary move.

The offensive tackle from the Tigers is a Louisiana native and was a starter this past year in Baton Rouge. He was injured prior to the game against the Aggies and did not face them, instead leaving freshman Carius Curne to face the wrath of Cashius Howell and company up front.

This is a big pickup for the Aggies without a doubt, but they still have more work to do along the offensive front. While guys like Robert Bourdon are developing into pieces that will make some noise this upcoming year, nabbing players with high-end traits and experience is a must.

Jacarrius Peak will be the prize that everyone has their eyes on in the coming days, but Tennessee OT transfer Lance Heard is another intriguing name to follow. Both have visited College Station, and if the Aggies can lock one of them down, then they will be in excellent shape.

Another name that fans will be watching is Alabama OT transfer Wilkin Formby. The Aggies could add his commitment as well, though he is not considered on the same level as Heard or Peak.

Whatever the case with future additions, this is a great one for the Aggies to land. Cushing and Elko are not done, but this is a big time feather in their cap for this portal cycle.
