Texas A&M Aggies news: Three football players get combine invites, Ags add commit, baseball suffers tough injury blow
Here's all the latest news from the Texas A&M Aggies.
The Ags registered three players with invitations to the NFL Combine. Unsurprisingly, it is the three premier defensive linemen coming out of College Station who earned the nods in Nic Scourton, Shemar Stewart, and Shemar Turner. Here's why this should raise the urgency level in Bright, even if there were a few snubs from the Aggies.
Idk how Texas A&M CB BJ Mayes (@dreadhead_bj) went the all star cycle w/o an invite & now doesn’t get a Combine invite either.

In some unabashedly positive football news, the Aggies picked up a commitment from a huge— and I mean huge— defensive lineman, adding to their big time 2026 haul. The Aggies continue to build an extremely impressive out-of-state class in the 2026 cycle, and they haven't even begun to close on some of their five-star targets yet.
The basketball team continues their upward trajectory, teetering right on the edge of legendary status in the annals of Aggie basketball history. If things break right down the stretch for the Aggies, they could be on the doorstep of never-before-seen glory in College Station.
Texas A&M Aggies news: A&M baseball suffers dismaying injury news before season begins
In some less sunny news, the Aggie baseball team— who will throw out the first pitch of the season tonight against Elon (the school, not the guy)— will be without one of their most important players to begin the season. Even so, though, this is an opportunity for the Aggies to showcase their depth with some of the star freshman they have coming in this season.
Finally, the Aggies recently got some major props from Trevor Lawrence, who had some words of praise for Kyle Field. He clearly thinks highly of the Home of the 12th Man, as you'd expect of any opponent who darkens the door of Kyle Field.
