Texas A&M is looking for a convincing victory this Saturday night in Auburn.

The New Mexico State game was a blowout victory for the Aggies, but not in a convincing way that fans were hoping for to prep for Auburn and Texas.

The Tigers have a chance to blow up the SEC and get a Saturday night victory against the Aggies. Or, the Aggies can take matters into their own hands and get one step closer to Atlanta.

Here are three storylines to get ready for Jordan-Hare on Saturday night.

1. Marcel Reed's play will determine a lot

Marcel Reed and the A&M offense had a great start against New Mexico State, but slowed down after the first quarter. Most of the momentum was already established for the guys in maroon.

The biggest plays need to be made on the ground, but the Aggies must show that Reed is more accurate in his passing attempts.

The scary thing for the Aggies is that most of Auburn's losses haven't been that convincing. But in the SEC, what is the definition of convincing?

Either way, Reed's quarterback play will be watched closely. He looks to have the starting job from here on out, but fans will be watching tightly.

2. Another night game for the Aggies

The Aggies have been iffy in night games, home or away.

We wrote recently about a bad luck of the draw for Texas A&M in night games.

Just like in South Carolina, Auburn is not a place you want to play if you are the road opponent in the evening.

Even though Texas A&M's matchup against the Tigers is a better matchup compared to the Gamecocks, the stadium will be fired up with Tiger fans going into Jordan-Hare with nothing to lose.

That "nothing to lose" mentality will be a scary one against Texas A&M, considering Auburn, at 4-6, is playing like a cornered animal, while Texas A&M—with one SEC loss—has everything to lose.

3. Watch the Aggie tight ends

With the deeply unfortunate injuries to Cyrus Allen and Le'Veon Moss, the Aggies must use their receivers more.

The tight end position shined against New Mexico State, with Theo Melin Ohrstrom having the time of his life, with five catches for 111 yards.

The position will need to be a huge part of the passing game considering the other receivers like Moose Muhammad III and Noah Thomas have been hit or miss guys this season. It's been tough to tell who's been the most consistent receiver this season thanks to guys having breakout games at different times.

When the Aggies get into the red zone, expect the big fellas to get some touches.
