Zyron Forstall's five-star commitment rockets Aggies' class into the stratosphere

The Aggies are finally delivering on all the momentum they've been building over the past year— and at this point, no one can stop them.

With Zyron Forstall's commitment, Texas A&M just added their fourth five-star— yes, you read that right, fourth five-star— in the class of 2027 already, and as a result, have moved up to the top overall class in the Rivals rankings. With the type of momentum they've been building, they won't be relinquishing that spot any time soon.

The Aggies now boast more five-star commitments in this class than they have throughout the entirety of Mike Elko's tenure as head coach (unless you count the late surge to keep Terry Bussey in the class as a win for Elko, which you probably should in all honesty). The best part about it is that the Aggies are not done in the slightest.

Texas A&M has the inside track for several more five-star talents in this class thanks to the tireless work that the Aggie coaching staff has been doing on the trail for some years now. This class is about to take off in a big way— and it could end up being the best class we've ever seen come to College Station.

Texas A&M's class hits another gear after Zyron Forstall commits to Mike Elko's program

Forstall joins an extremely impressive cast of characters up front in this cycle, including the quickly-rising Myels Smith and Elijah Patmon as interior defenders. Kaden McCarty, a big time in-state win over Texas and others, rounds things out on the other side of the defensive line.

Texas A&M could add even more to this group if all goes well, though— and with Elijah Robinson back in the driver's seat as the recruiter for this position group, you have to imagine that there are some more of these kinds of pickups coming. Jalen Brewster is the big fish, as the no. 1 player in the nation per several services, and his commitment to Texas Tech is shaky right now.

This is an exciting time to follow Texas A&M recruiting. The Aggies are only beginning to heat up, and things are about to keep going up from here. Stay tuned, as there is no doubt more to come soon.
